A skylit Saloon nestled between the Living Room and the ‘Garden Room’, brings natural light deep in to the once dark house. With the flip of a switch black-out shades drop from the coffered ceiling and a projector and screen lower to create the perfect multi-media experience.
The plan of the house is shaped like a boomerang, with a protruding living room. A two-story tudor tower masks the bend in the roof. The second floor within the tower was removed to create a two story space. Three new gothic-inspired windows fill the space with natural light. A sweeping stairway crafted of dark-stained walnut enhances the experience.
Upstairs, the Master Suite, with separate his and her bath and dressing rooms, open to dramatic views of the garden without sacrifiing privacy.
